What we are working to
Plastr is being built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We do not claim full conformance: parts of the site have been tested with a keyboard and a screen reader, other parts have not yet, and the audit is repeated with each release. Updated September 4, 2026.
What has been tested
Keyboard-only browsing, opening a listing, choosing a sponsor spot and checking out; creating and editing a basic listing; the sign-in flow; the order page. Every sponsor spot on a listing is a real button with its name, price and availability in its accessible name, and the same spots are listed below the photo, so nobody has to use the visual map to buy. Text scales with the browser, pinch-zoom is never blocked, and motion is reduced when your device asks for it.
Known limitations
Drawing and resizing a sponsor spot on the photo is pointer-only today; keyboard users can still create a spot with a default size and edit its name, price and description, and can ask support to place it precisely. Some status colours (amber, green) are used with text so they do not rely on colour alone, but a few older labels are still low contrast and are being replaced. Photos people upload rarely carry descriptions; we are adding a way for creators to write them.
